Verdict

ELEAZAR had an engagement at Uttoxeter on Saturday night but would have to be taken seriously if coming here instead. Lucy Wadham's charge was a decent performer over hurdles and fences under Rules and beat a subsequent scorer with something to spare on his hunter chase debut at Fakenham. Bob Hall has won plenty of races and wasn't disgraced when fifth at Cheltenham 11 days ago while Locksmith won at Southwell in March, but was well beaten at Bangor last time. The others look to be facing a stiff task at the weights.
