Zulu Principle is an interesting newcomer having won at Dundalk in December on only his third start. Banyan Tree was a useful two-year-old who never ran last year but made a good impression on his hurdling debut at Cork last month. He goes on the short-list along with four-times Flat winner Scottish Boogie but this should chiefly concern the consistent but so far luckless LUDDENMORE, who produced the best piece of form on show when just touched off by Plan A at Gowran, and Akatara, a very good second to Caribbean Sea at Kilbeggan last time.
