Course and distance winner Farlington looked pretty good when scoring here 13 days ago and that effort clearly makes him the one to beat. Nev Brown showed promise as a novice but has lost his way of late so the others are preferred. Rookery Lad put in a good effort on his chasing debut, finishing a three-and-a-half length second to the very useful River City at Stratford. Given that he is getting six pounds from Farlington, he should give him a race but we will stick with Farlington.
