Verdict

Runthatpastmeagain is an up and coming type and is marginally preferred to First Feerie and Valiant Shadow. There may also be more to come from Red Square Express, who represents shrewd connections and is one to carefully monitor in the betting. Valiant Shadow improved to win here last time and has proven ability to handle cut in the ground. He has to rate as a big threat if he continues to progress. First Feerie gained a deserved success at Ascot last time and has to be considered on these terms. The daughter of Turgeon does need to prove herself against the boys today but has very little to find to make her presence known. However, Runthatpastmeagain edges a slender verdict as he has tons of scope for progress and he can provide Tony McCoy with a nice little fillip en route to Cheltenham.
