Pink Eyed Pedro could go well at a price in this as long as there isn’t further rain. Copper West is much respected being a course and distance winner last season, though he can throw in the odd shocker. Royal Village has also won over track and trip and San Benedeto has plenty of class though Harry Cobden rides Lough Derg Spirit, a recent arrival from Nicky Henderson. Alan King’s pair Fidux and Potterman can’t be ignored and Bags Groove is worth a market check, despite the long absence. Peter Bowen almost always has one laid out for this and MORE BUCK’S won it two years ago. He’s now 3lb lower but showed he still retained plenty of ability last year and Richard Patrick’s claim is a further plus.
