Stage Acclaim's jumping left a little to be desired when second at Worcester but he's entitled to improve on his debut over the larger obstacles and looks the main danger to POINTS OF VIEW. On reflection, Kim Bailey's gelding may have given the front-running Icy Colt too much rope at Uttoxeter 12 days ago but was staying on strongly up the straight and looks the one to beat on that run. Alfloramoor looks thoroughly exposed but Laureldean River has won here over hurdles and should improve for his reappearance at Southwell, though has plenty to find with the selection on the form book.
