In depth

Verdict

Fine Parchment went close at Haydock last month and the veteran may yet end a long losing run off his current mark. But THE MUMPER has had just the seven starts over fences and won over 2m3f here in February. He ran well again off today's higher mark at Exeter last time and Alan King's charge is preferred to Lily Little Legs. The latter scored at Sedgefield a fortnight ago but faces tougher opposition today and has been raised 5lb while Ultimatum Du Roy was still beaten a distance when second to Bucking The Trend over track and trip last time.
