In depth

Verdict

Devil To Pay has been thereabouts when falling close home the last twice now. He'll figure in the finish if staying on his feet. MONT ROYALE is similar in that he too has failed to complete on his last couple of outings but he should have benefited for a lay-off and he has leading claims on his earlier placed efforts in this grade. Catterick winner Raktiman failed to cope with a 9lb rise and a step up in class when well beaten at Haydock while Friendly Royal has struggled since finishing second at the same track in December.
