Verdict

David Pipe's French import Magie Du Ma has yet to set the world alight in three starts for the Somerset operation but as a four-year-old has time on her side and will probably be handled as a long-term project. She produced some useful form in France and does receives a massive 24lb from WORK IN PROGRESS. Dan Skelton has always stressed that his gelding would be handled with the future in mind and proved the point emphatically when attentions were returned to chasing last time. The Westerner gelding came home unchallenged and will almost certainly adopt the front-running tactics which worked so effectively last time over course and distance. Nachi Falls hasn't been running too badly in low-grade Flat handicaps and this decent hurdler now makes his chasing debut.
