Verdict

Bauhaus gets the confident vote here with Happily Ever After and Ellerslie Lisa rating the main dangers. The selection was a fair third behind To Arms last time out. That form looks rock solid in the context of this race and under conditions that suit he will be hard to beat. Happily Ever After rates the main danger on his latest third behind Bouncing King but this is the softest ground he would have encountered and he is taken on with this in mind. Ellerslie Lisa is another that could go well as he looks sure to be suited by the step up in trip. However he would be better off if this were a handicap and he is opposed with this in mind. Of the remainder Fresh Winter is from a shrewd yard and is worth a cautionary look in the market but he has shown little so far and for the winner we return to Bauhaus.
