Most arrive in good heart but Richard Hobson's latest plan of pitching FANZIO in against older horses nearly came to fruition in a decent Class 3 hurdle at Hexham last month and the Day Flight gelding could well go one better from the foot of the weights. A consistent and reliable sort, he's likely to maintain a steady level of progression. Zig Zag scored with plenty in hand at the end of May but that success was delivered at Cartmel, a totally different challenge to the one he faces today. He should be a major player all the same with Tiffin Top, yet to be out of the first four in six starts, also worthy of a place on the shortlist along with Blushing Red, a good second last time at Kempton. Demon D'Aunou is the one to note in the market.
