In depth

Verdict

Connections of Lady of Scarvagh have found a easy contest here and she is taken to score at the expense of Harringay and Cloudless Dawn. The selection was rated as much as one hundred and fourteen over hurdles winning three times and competeing at a high level at times. She was a faller on her debut over the larger obstacles but was not affected by a lack of confidence when scoring at Kempton last time out. She does carry a penalty but hopefully the jockeys seven pound claim can counteract that. Harringay will be the biggest danger to the selction. She is a multiple winner over hurdles but has failed to perform as well over fences. She did not enjoy herself last time when finishing down the field at Ludlow looking as though she was not fireing and that raises question marks on todays test. Cloudless Dawn has won a novice chase at Kelso back in November but failed to sparkle at Huntingdon last time out. She did have fair hurdle form and if bouncing back to her best she would have to be respected. But for the winner we will side with the in form Lady of Scarvagh.
