Verdict

THIRD TIME LUCKI may well live up to his name having finished second in a point-to-point before placing in a bumper at Ascot on last month’s reappearance. Dan Skelton’s charge is preferred to Carlisle runner-up Jayaaah and Convivial, who wasn’t beaten far over a shorter trip here on last year’s debut. Lively Citizen has placed between the flags while Hillberry is partnered by Richard Johnson and makes more appeal than Dirty Diana of the newcomers.
