Verdict

Fast ground suits AIRMEN'S FRIEND and Charlie Mann's course winner can return to winning ways, despite top weight. The danger may be La Pantera Rosa, who won on his latest start at Wetherby in May, as Kirkhammerton always seems to find at least one too good and both Kilmore West and Oniz Tiptoes are probably better over hurdles. Folie A Deux could figure, however, though this trip stretches his stamina and while Roi De Garde is a C&D winner he ran no sort of race when well backed at Uttoxeter last time.
