Lord Lieutenant looked beaten before falling at Warwick on his reappearance last month and Nigel Hawke's gelding looks best watched in a race taken to go to GRAND MANNER, who gets the vote with Etoile d'Or rated the pick of the remainder. The selection has not raced for 585 days but Keith Reveley can get one ready, his gelding was good value for his success here when last seen and he has solid claims off the same mark again today. Errol has been well held in all four starts this term since finishing second in a seller at Sedgefield back in May so looks best watched, while Feeling Peckish has given little cause for optimism. Killfinnan Castle has been well held in all outings since coming from Ireland and a bigger threat is likely to come from Etoile d'Or, who ran better here last time. This is a moderate looking finale though and Grand Manner is taken to defy the long absence and make a winning return.
