Viper has delivered some interesting runs and wasn't far behind the winner last time out whilst No Panic who runs off top weight is a generally consistent performer but our vote goes to CHORIZO who was just a quarter of a length behind the victor at this course recently. He also won over course and distance last month and the form has been franked as the second on that occasion, Public Esteem, has since gone on to win here. Richard Guest has a 25% strike rate so far this year and it may be about to improve as Chorizo seems to be the in-form choice. Viper could be a danger having put in some good runner-up runs in his last two starts. He was a lot closer last time out but the trip on that occasion may have been that little bit too far. This looks more his sort of thing and Dr Richard Newland looks for improvement from Viper with first time blinkers. No Panic still has a chance despite running off top weight but was disappointing when finishing twenty eight lengths behind the winner last time at Ayr. He is likely to put in a better run here and could play a part. However our preference is for Chorizo.
