Verdict
Blue Eyed Eloise kept on well last time out to get a first hurdle win and Mountskip was only just beaten at this course recently but we take RUBY ISABEL to win this race. The selection has been in good form lately and despite finishing third last time out at Newton Abbot this may have been due to running so soon after her Sedgefield triumph. Although her best form has been in chase company, Tim Vaughan has a 31% strike rate with hurdlers at this track and she has an excellent opportunity to grab the win. Blue Eyed Eloise beat Gulf President by a head last time and the undulations at this course shouldn't pose a problem after that victory at Plumpton. This contest may be an altogether more difficult proposition, but Gulf President has franked the form by winning subsequently. Mountskip has put in some solid efforts this year and is a danger to our pick. Decision is another who has the potential to improve and has shown some development this year. However, we side with Ruby Isabel to pick up the win.
