In depth

Verdict

A P McCoy has already won twice on Chalk It Down and keeps the partnership intact as Warren Greatex's charge returns from a short break. Iguacu was clearly suited by the step up in trip at Stratford as he won by 16 lengths. This is a hotter contest, however, while McCoy could presumably have ridden Mr Shantu if he'd been inclined. HAWKHILL usually races in much better company and is back on a winning mark. He gets the nod today as Lucky Landing has been struggling to get his head in front lately and Parc Des Princes is also on a bit of a losing run.
