Hawk Mountain was a decent stayer on the Flat and had no trouble landing the odds on his hurdling debut at Sedgefield. He should go well again here while Enroller would be interesting if a spell over timber rekindled his enthusiasm. City Press doesn't look as though one of Nicky Henderson's stable stars, however, and Herostatus is best watched on his first start over timber. CRACKENTORP won twice over 1m4f on the Flat at York earlier this year and showed promise on his sole start over hurdles at Newcastle 12 months ago. Today's trip shouldn't be a problem and Tim Easterby's six-year-old looks the one to beat today.
