Seymour Weld needs more help from the handicapper although he shouldn't be ignored from the front, however PILGRIMS LANE comes here in better form and is fancied to beat Nudge And Nurdle and Yellow Flag. Milton Harris has his runners in good form and this Dr Massini gelding has been holding his form well this year. He is now 7lbs higher than his last win but conditions look ideal today and he should run well. As should Nudge And Nurdle who should come on for his recent second to Radetsky March, whilst Yellow Flag has won two of his last three starts since a spell on the sidelines and although he has stamina questions to answer he looks up to the job. Stagecoach Amber is a course and distance winner and lost little caste in defeat at Perth a month ago, Silver Adonis is capable on his day and swaps cheek-pieces for the blinkers, whilst Tell Henry needs a market check on this return to action for a new yard. Further down the weights Frankie Anson needs a market check as he returns from a break and the better ground looks likely to suit, however in the best race of the afternoon the nod is given to Pilgrims Lane.
