Alroyal, Broadway Score and Scamp look the three to concentrate on in an open finale and the tentative vote goes to Alroyal. The selection was a good winner last time out when defeating Groesfaen Lad and although he has a penalty for that win he will be hard to beat under conditions that suit. Broadway Score was a fair sort on the flat at his best but he appears to have regressed, but he may improve for the switch to hurdles so he is worth noting in the market. Scamp is another worthy of respect on his best bumper form but he folded very tamely behind Miss Holly last time so can not be backed with any confidence. Of the remainder Lord Dundee has won over a mile and six furlongs on the flat and is another to note in the market but for the winner we return to the experienced Alroyal.
