In depth

Verdict

Charlie Hills' colt Strath Burn made an impressive debut at Newbury and is thrown in at the deep-end here. South Bank finished runner-up in a Listed race at Deauville on her introduction and is obviously well regarded, but it should pay to stick with the proven Group form. Goken beat Lehaim easily enough to land a Group 3 at Chantilly last month and another bold bid is expected from him, but KOOL KOMPANY hasn't stopped improving yet. He got back on track after a blip at Ascot with a Group 2 victory at the Curragh and Richard Hannon's charge should have too much for these.
