Verdict
To call Sir Michael Stoute an infrequent visitor to Redcar would be to put it mildly so the arrival of INDELIBLE INK in the opener causes a raised eyebrow or two. The son of Invisible Spirit didn't perform at all badly in the Newmarket maiden won by Epithet, staying on at one pace to come home sixth of 12. The seventh, Guiding Light, has won since so the form looks pretty solid in the context of this contest. Pensax Boy ran really well when unfancied on debut behind the heavily-punted Freight Train at Doncaster and should benefit from that experience whilst Spring Offensive shaped quite nicely first time up too. Al Rayyan was beaten a very long way on debut behind the high-class The Wow Signal but is presumably better than that.
