A good race by Monday's standards and Herecomesstanley can see off Gan Eagla and Marked Man. The selection had been campaigned over hurdles in order to protect his chasing mark but he hasn't been punished for a recent second at Folkestone and having narrowly failed there, he can atone here. Gan Eagla is persisted with in blinkers. The front runner stays further but is dropped in trip this afternoon. Marked Man is quickly turned out under a penalty. His yard are running well. Spring Lover returns to a right handed track and has to be noted in the market if there is any money around. Fu Manchu has put up some modest fencing displays thus far and needs to improve on his technique. Rajam has a poor chasing record but had been taking on better opposition on his previous starts. Herecomesstanley is an able enough individual and can take the spoils in this valuable chase.
