Step Quick comes from an in-form yard and is worth supporting over Lord of The Hill and Orient Bay. Step Quick was a beaten favourite at Worcester a fortnight ago, finding Prairie Minstrel, who was out of the handicap, too strong on the run-in. Even so, the drop back in trip appeared to suit Peter Bowen's charge who gets another chance to atone. A winning pointer in the past, he looked the part when scoring at Market Rasen earlier, and should have no problems round here. Lord of The Hill won a weak affair at Hereford last time, making all the running, and there is no doubting that he is in form at present, as is his trainer Heather Dalton. Raised for that success though, he is there to be shot down by the selection on the turn for home. Orient Bay is out of the handicap, but was rated on a mark of 80 when third here in March and is much lower now. Veneguera's stable had a winner on Saturday and overall look as though they could be worth supporting over the next few weeks. However, this consistent sort still has it to do off topweight, and with that in mind, Step Quick appeals as the likely winner.
