Prairie Town got back to winning ways eased in grade at Plumpton and is still on a fair mark. Wincanton winner Magic River can be forgiven his run over a trip too far at Fakenham but Jen's Boy has become hard to place and is very one-paced. SCHNABEL (NAP) is a useful staying chaser when in the mood and, successful around here already, it would be no surprise to see Matt Sheppard’s nine-year-old defy a further 3lb rise and complete the hat-trick. Finalshot was never travelling last time at Exeter but looks better treated than both Boughtbeforelunch and Holdbacktheriver.
