The veteran THREE LIONS looks the one to beat here judging by his Fontwell victory 19 days ago, where he bounced out and was never headed. Formerly trained by David Pipe before being claimed following his Uttoxeter victory, the eleven year old has stamina in abundance which is his main strength while the ground remains ideal for him. Dasher Reilly is a place contender but no more judged on his recent efforts. He has been very frustrating and connections look to be attempting to regain his enthusiasm by switching between disciplines. Nayodabayo is a regular in this grade but is always vulnerable while at times he looks rather recalcitrant when required to battle. Heez A Wonder was a classy sort on his day for Francis Flood in Ireland and returned just recently from almost sixteen months off the track. The Newland yard have proved in the past that they are capable of revitalizing others cast-offs although the lively ground would be a concern. Willies Way showed some of his old sparkle last week and could not be left from calculations while Another Native attracted support last time when too much use was made of him before he fell. Three Lions is given the tentative vote to win it.
