Jack Thunder’s second at Newton Abbot looks the best piece of recent form on offer but he may have been flattered by the result. Timoshenko has become very disappointing since making a winning debut over timber but The Composeur should strip fitter for his second at Perth and INNERPICKLE has been steadily improving. The latter has only been raised 3lb for winning at Newton Abbot, which seems fair. Evenstevens was second upped in trip at Doncaster in January but hasn’t raced since.
