It is hard to look beyond THE GOOD GUY in this selling hurdle and he is taken to get the better of Rate Field and Singhalongtasveer. In context of this race, the selection has shown a decent level of consistency winning three of his 11 starts over hurdles. He won a claiming hurdle in good style earlier in the month and this course and distance scorer looks one to stay on the right side of at this level. Emma Lavelle has been in decent form of late but Rate Field was well beaten in this grade last time out and he does shape as though his future may be as a chaser. Singhalongtasveer reverts to timber after a shocking effort over birch last time out. He is eased in grade and he has conditions to suit so he should be capable of bouncing back to form and he looks a good bet to land some prize money. Black Mogul went close in this grade last time out when he finished in front of Rate Field, but on these terms we are confident that form will be reversed. Hardwick is one to note in the market as he has got some decent form in Ireland and it would not be a surprise to see him go well. However, The Good Guy makes most appeal and he gets the vote.
