Shanroe Tic Tec completed a hat-trick of handicap victories in March and not surprisingly shot up the weights though he's better than his last two runs imply. It's a surprise to see Criq Sun running over the minimum as he stepped up to 3m to score at Taunton and this is a big drop in distance. The four-year-old Coal Stock has improved with each start over timber and wouldn't need much more to make a successful handicap debut but this can go to the lightly-raced BAGAN, who looked an improved performer when a close third in a Market Rasen handicap in March. Dave Roberts will need to work his magic with recent acquisition Unsafe Conduct, who has been out of form but won a Newton Abbot handicap from 2lb higher a year ago.
