Not a race that will take much winning and this looks a good opportunity for Iorana, who takes a welcome drop in grade. Martin Pipe's gelding has been struggling in handicaps over fences of late but had previously notched a four-timer in the autumn including an impressive selling victory over course and distance. The seven-year-old is well treated by the race conditions and will handle the fast ground so looks sure to take plenty of beating. Hamadeenah was a narrow selling winner at Uttoxeter in September but had his limitations exposed in better company next time and may need the outing following an absence of over five months. Midnight Jazz has place claims on the pick of last year's form but has proved disappointing this term and, along with Terdad, he has something to find with the selection at the weights.
