In depth

Verdict

Magical Liaison showed ability in his only bumper outing at Worcester and should have improved over the summer and is capable of taking this as the TEAMtalk selection for a trainer who has an excellent course record here. Coursers Cove is the most experienced in the field and has some fair form to his name. This will be his first effort on a fast surface so a watching brief is advised for this son of Sir Harry Lewis. Onassis is a well-bred 'National Hunt' type whose chance will be given away in the market while Manor Down is likely to start favourite being from a top stable. He is another whose chance will be reflected in the betting ring.
