Verdict

There should be more to come from GO FOR ONE now that he's back on track and he's selected ahead of Cresswell Willow and Spare Me. The selection lost his way after a promising start to his career but his new yard have got him back on the right path and have taken advantage of his lowly mark. He is now on a career high mark following his wide margin win last time but such was the authority of his success that he looks capable of cocking a snook at the assessor. Cresswell Willow put a string of jumping problems behind her to produce a polished performance last time and she rates the biggest danger as a 7lb rise may underestimate her level of progress now that she's got her jumping sorted. Down's Folly was back in third on that occasion so has claims at the revised weights and he's a solid sort who should be involved but he's failed to win a chase in ten starts. Super Judge hasn't shown enough of late to be considered but Spare Me may well prove better in time than his chase debut at Fakenham suggests and isn't dismissed. He has plenty to prove though and Go For One is readily preferred.
