It's a different track and a different day, but DOUBLE VALENTINE was such an easy winner at Kempton last time, and comes here unpenalised, that we will side with her to follow up over this shorter trip. The selection has won three times this year, over six and seven furlongs and a mile, so she should still possess enough pace tonight. She picked up really well for Debra England last week and the partnership remains in tact here. The surface clearly suits and provided she has no issues with the track on her first try then she can enjoy further success. Dubai To Barnsley seems adaptable as far as ground is concerned but has not yet really convinced over this trip and in spite of a good Southwell run we are prepared to oppose. Fantasy Fighter remains a maiden after 12 starts but he has performed with credit here in defeat in the past, and ran well to be runner up to Lost All Alone over this trip in a minor Lingfield handicap last time. He merits respect. Mr Rev has shown a modicum of ability over this sort of trip but looks a bit slow and unless the first-time headgear has a marked effect he looks to have plenty on here. Shava looks in need of a favour from the assessor, but Viewforth has dropped to a dangerously low mark and switched to Michael Wigham, who may well be able to bring about an upturn in fortunes, and if the market speaks positively then he would be of major concern to the selection, Double Valentine.
