Verdict

A competitive field goes to post for this handicap chase with many in form rivals in opposition including Dragon King, Satshoon and Prancing Blade and we will side with the last named. The 10-year-old won well last time out when defeating Indiscreet and although he has risen in the weights he will be hard to beat as long as the ground remains on the fast side. Dragon King has won his last two races in good style but that has been on much softer ground so for that reason he is opposed. Satshoon is also worthy of respect but he ran as if in the handicappers grip when third behind Comanche War Paint last time so for that reason is opposed. Mighty Montefalco is well weighted on his best form but his jumping will have to hold up if he is to trouble the principals. Of the remainder Cassia Heights is better with more cut in the ground so we are happy to side with the dour stayer Prancing Blade.
