Verdict

Sisania was all out to land a gamble at Fontwell on her hurdling debut but she'll need to jump much better to stand any chance here, though her stable remains in good form. Lord Huntingdon looked beaten when falling two out at Kempton but would have been placed at worst and he'd won earlier at Huntingdon – his yard won this last year. Hollywood Road also won at Huntingdon last month and may be progressing but LINGER can show that early-season Irish form is strong by landing this for Shark Hanlon. The Cape Cross gelding is fully exposed but did win at Tipperary in August and has held his form well since, finishing second to a decent novice at Cartmel on a previous visit to these shores – Rachael Blackmore takes off a handy 5lb again.
