In depth

Verdict

Geordie Des Champs won three times last year but needs better ground than this. Khan beat a subsequent winner at Lingfield in November, when Ratfacemcdougall was pulled up, and hasn’t been beaten far in both starts since so has to go on the shortlist while Treasure Dillon was successful over 2m4f at Ffos Las last month and had every chance in this race last year when falling three out. Polish is only 2lb higher than when scoring at Newbury last season and has his sights lowered but has ground to make up on ONE FOR YOU, who has also won around here in the past and is best going right-handed.
