Cantermerle can get the better of Caper, with Ambersong and Coustou others worth a mention. Although there is a fairly large turnout here, not too many can be fancied, and Cantermerle is taken to build on his third to Martin Pipe's Fast Mix at Ludlow 17 days ago. Mark Brisbourne's charge will have learnt plenty from that run, and he should make a bold bid. Reg Hollinshead's Caper has also shaped well on both starts to date over timber, but has to give nearly a stone to the selection, but Ambersong is already a course and distance winner and could prove dangerous. Eyes To The Right has registered a win this season, while Coustou has disappointed in the main but is another that has a bit of experience. He has taken on slightly better company, so it would not surprise us if he were to be placed, but for the winner we return to Cantermerle.
