Passing Wind was a very very easy winner at Fakenham last time out in what was a farcical contest but looks capable of following up after a two month break from the racecourse, with Caribbean Cove and Lord Of The Hill the dangers. The Richard Guest-trained selection was acts on a decent surface, gets this trip well and remains on a handy mark. A decent jumper who has done well when fresh before can make it back-to-back wins here. Top weight Caribbean Cove could be the one to give him most to do. Jim Culloty's mount also appreciates bouncing off a sound surface, as evidenced by his two hurdles wins at Bangor and Warwick last spring. Nevertheless, shouldering 11st 12lb after disappointing on his only chasing run to date is a big ask and he is overlooked here. Of the remainder, Lord Of The Hill makes some appeal. He is likely to set the pace, as he did when thrashing Veneguera over course and distance in November, though he is now 10lb higher than that day and looks like he is in the grip of the handicapper, so we will stick with Passing Wind to blow them away.
