Verdict

A winner at Stratford and Sedgefield in August, GRAMS AND OUNCES proved his well-being by winning on the Flat at Bath nine days ago. Grace Harris' gelding is clearly at the top of his game at present and, with a decent amateur taking off 7lb again over a course and distance at which he's already won off a higher mark, the eight-year-old can score again. Empty The Tank has won three of his last four but needs to get there on the bridle and this could be run at a decent gallop. Ladies Dancing rarely runs a bad race and Arthamint has the past form to figure while Mandy's Boy has been showing signs of a revival lately. But the handicapper has done An Capall Mor no favours considering his only recent win came in a seller.
