Verdict

Master Dee only beat I'dliketheoption half-a-length at Newton Abbot in August and is now 3lb worse off. He's also been beaten since at Warwick, though only by a neck. Play The Ace was struggling when unseating his rider at Fontwell on Saturday and steps up a grade for this but there are possibilities about the two chasing newcomers. Pull The Chord will probably do better when there is more give in the ground so we'll take a chance on ASCOTDEUX NELLERIE, who was lightly raced over hurdles with a chasing career in mind. He's already won a bumper and a hurdle around here and the going will suit.
