GELBOE DE CHANAY, an impressive winner at Auteuil last April, started odds-on for her debut in the J P Macmanus colours at Fontwell in December. She wasn't certain to pass the eventual winner when falling at the last but has been given time to recover and can gain compensation. Gilka has joined Dan Skelton since landing a minor race in France in November while Tronada made a satisfactory debut over timber at Warwick in December and can only improve. Dorah, a winner on the Flat at Leicester in May, looks a nice recruit for Paul Nicholls.
