This is a pretty ordinary novices’ hurdle by any standard. Venetia Williams, Charlie Longsdon and Tom Weston all run two and the latter’s Coopers Square, placed between the flags, would not need to be anything special to play a part, though could find this on the short side. Williams’ MANSION has only had the two career starts and he didn’t run badly on his debut at Newbury before disappointing at Exeter. He may be worth another chance though Miss Williams is probably open to some improvement but, like Katara Bay, lacks a recent run. Billy Hicks looks best of the rest.
