Pat Smullen and Willie Mullins teamed up with LAVINIAD (NAP) at Gowran on Wednesday and the combination proved a winner as the mare gained a comfortable victory. She's likely to go up by more than her 5lb penalty and a quick double looks on the cards. The progressive Seaforth did well to run the in-form Ringside Humour close on that same Gowran card and makes his handicap debut off what could prove a lenient mark but The Panhandler did better when sent over 1m2f at Clonmel. Eric The Grey has changed stables and may prove best of the remainder.
