In depth

Verdict

This is a poor turnout but it won't concern connections of KNOCKNAGREE, who cost 600,000gns as a yearling. She started out with a very promising run over this trip at Leopardstown in October and found an extra half-mile on heavy going beyond her on her reappearance. Angel Bay had shaped with some promise at Leopardstown before a poor effort at Killarney, though that didn't look her form and she's expected to do better. Love Letter didn't perform badly on her opening run at Limerick but then found 1m2f taxing her stamina at Dundalk so should be suited by this trip.
