Verdict

MALONE ROAD puts his huge reputation and his unbeaten record on the line in his toughest assignment to date. Gordon Elliott's point-to-point and bumper winner cantered around Kilbeggan for a facile debut victory over timber and we'll see what he's made of here. Wajaaha was always travelling like a winner at Kilbeggan and had been in good form on the Flat previously while Fusain was very impressive in landing a maiden on the same track by 12 lengths. N'golo looked one to follow when scoring easily at Galway on his debut for Willie Mullins and there must have been something amiss when he pulled up behind Wajaaha next time.
