Fit For Function is on a long losing run but has won from much higher marks in the past and looked ready to score again when runner-up over a mile at Gowran. Transition has only won on the all-weather and is better over a mile while WHAT ADAAY (NAP) has never won in a dozen starts. However, the latter was only beaten a length when returning from a long break in July then beat all bar Eastern Racer at Bellewstown a month later and can go one better. Baalbec Beauty ran a fine race on just her third start in a Curragh maiden though makes her handicap debut with a big weight but Cheeky Peek has produced two very good efforts at Cork this summer and has only had five starts.
