SHAMAR had looked very smart when completing a double earlier in the summer and didn't lose much in defeat by Que Pasa at Galway but he disappointed behind Lord Ben at Tramore. That may just have been a blip as he finished just in front of today's main rival Diplomat at Galway when conceding 6lb so should again have the edge over Dermot Weld's charge. King Of The Picts was 17l behind Diplomat at Galway in July and looks held while the chaser Becauseicouldntsee, whose last three runs were in the Grand National, the Bet365 at Sandown and a Listed chase at Uttoxeter, has never won over hurdles.
