Verdict

Egyptian Warrior was a rare bumper runner for Aidan O'Brien where he showed only moderate ability. He did better when dropped to 1m6f on his first start under Flat rules at Gowran and this trip and ground could bring about more improvement. VOTE OF CONFIDENCE has already run twice this month, showing promise at the Curragh before a narrow defeat at Galway. He looks certain to improve again and is handed the verdict as Rebel Force, who started favourite for that latter event on the back of two good runs, was well beaten though she didn't get the best of runs. Silky Pyrus has some strong form on the going and Jim Bolger's newcomer Twin Focus is one to note in the betting.
