Verdict

Bukhill started favourite on his debut at Galway but faded after leading for a long way. He'll have come on for the experience and had Fiveonefive behind. My Gaffer hasn't been beaten far in either start though had no answer to an odds-on chance at Killarney while Sean Og looked as though he needed further when placed over 2m2f at Sligo. Volantis has changed hands since a fair debut at Kilbeggan but a chance is taken with ABBEYDALE, who cost €140,000 as a two-year-old and is a half-brother to five winners.
